Home of Dulce Volunteering is standing shoulder to shoulder with Grandmother’s Voice, a grassroots organization led by Indigenous Women that aims to create a safe, secure community that advances education, knowledge, understanding of Indigenous cultures and practices.
We are taking the first step to learn from Indigenous Peoples’ wisdom, honour our shared history, and reconcile and heal as a community! Anyone from the Halton community is welcome to join us in this journey!

“Honouring the Truth, Reconciling for the Future” is a free virtual event organized by Home of Dulce Volunteering in partnership with the Grandmother’s Voice. The event will take place on Saturday, March 26th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am EST. Everybody is welcome to join!
The Grandmothers will shine a light on our shared history, how reconciliation involves the collective efforts of all people to revitalize the relationship between Indigenous Peoples and Canadian Society, and how we can heal as a community and build a new way of living together!
The event is FREE, but you are more than welcome to make a donation to help Grandmother’s Voice build the first urban Indigenous Center in Halton.

Support Grandmother’s Voice to build the first Urban Indigenous Center in Halton!
The Urban Indigenous Foundation of HOPE and PEACE for Wellness will be the first urban Indigenous Center in Halton, and it is a partnership between Grandmother’s Voice and Country Heritage Park. The wellness center will provide alternative treatments for all, a very inclusive approach, but one that will allow for the healing of the body, mind, and soul and spirit while connecting to the land.
