Spiritism is a doctrine, codified (learn more below in Coding\/Bibliography) by Allan Kardec, that deals with the origin and nature of spirits and their relationship with the material world. Its primary focus is the spiritual nature of the human being: we are all spirits, incarnate or not. It is a knowledge that starts with the spiritual essence to explain material existence.<\/p>

In the book “Getting to know Spiritism”, Aden\u00e1uer Novaes1 explains that “Spiritism penetrates fundamental questions of human knowledge. It approaches moral, philosophical, scientific and religious questions, hence the reason for saying that it is Science, Philosophy and Religion. It is Science because, having its own method and object, it uses observation and experimentation in the search for its own development. It is Philosophy because it answers the basic questions of human knowledge. It studies the origins of the human being, where we came from, where we are going, and who we are . It is Religion, even though not having an organized priesthood, cults or rituals, because it seeks to integrate the human being with God. Spiritism is, then, the meeting point of this knowledge. Allan Kardec is the pseudonym that the French educator, writer, and translator Hippolyte L\u00e9on Denizard Rivail adopted when he published \"The Spirits' Book\", which presents a new theory of human destiny and life, in 1856. Allan Kardec became known as the great propagator of the Spiritist Doctrine.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In 1857, Kardec published a revised edition of \"The Spirits' Book\" and devoted himself to establishing the basis for the Codification of the Spiritist Doctrine.\nThanks to the teachings received from superior spirits through various mediums, Kardec wrote the five books that became the basis of spiritism (Pentateuch).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
